This guidebook was developed jointly between the three IPs with the aim of providing additional information to the visitors of the closed track demonstrations. The 8-page A4-size booklet briefly describes the projects, what cooperative systems are and the applications demonstrated.
CVIS Live! contest
In order to help visitors keep track of their CVIS experience in Stockholm and to encourage them to visit multiple stations/demonstrations, the consortium provided two prizes to be drawn amongst the visitors that have visited at least 5 out of 8 CVIS stations.
The benefit was reciprocal, the CVIS stations would get attract more visitors and the visitors would be able to win nice prizes.
The two prizes were: Visit to Trondheim cooperative test site (including flight, hotel stay and tailored visit to the Trondheim test site) and visit to Intertraffic at Amsterdam RAI (including 3 hotel nights and registration fee). Both of the prizes were closely related to CVIS and provided an additional opportunity to the winners to learn more about the project outcomes.
The prize winner of the “Trondheim test site visit” was Henrik Lind from Volvo Car Corporation, while the “Intertraffic” prize was won by Nick Hodges from Newcastle University.
