Third Party Cooperation
A dozen cooperation agreements between CVIS and external entities/projects in the area of cooperative systems have been (or are in the process of being) signed, which further strengthens the CVIS goal to become a true European open reference platform for cooperative systems.
CVIS is welcoming requests for further cooperation with projects and organisations that are involved in the deployment of cooperative systems in Europe. The procedure for such cooperation is the following:
- Based on a standard cooperation agreement, the fields for cooperation between CVIS and the other entity will be defined. CVIS grants the right to use its Reference Execution Platform (REP), which consists of hardware and software components. The other project will describe what kind of e.g. report, software or activity it will share.
- The approval of the CVIS steering committee is mandatory and can take up to 4 weeks. After approval, the other project will receive the cooperation agreement for signature.
- You need to sign the evaluation license agreements with contractor Ramsys for the use of CVIS core software () and with contractor Makewave for the use of CVIS SDK or Software Developers' Kit () if needed in your project.
- Ramsys and Makewave will provide access to the CVIS WIKI where you can download software and documentation. The WIKI includes a FAQ section and an e-mail helpdesk.
