CVIS will present its latest results at a number of sessions at this year's European ITS Congress, to take place in Geneva, Switzerland, on 4 to 6 June. CVIS will also have its own entirely dedicated Special Session. Check out the CVIS- and cooperative systems-specific programme at the following page in the "related events section of this website.
At the exhibition, CVIS partners Peek and Q-Free will jointly hold a V2V and V2I communication demonstration: a radio-controlled scale car model will be highlighting the broadband and low-latency features of the emerging IEEE 802.11p and CALM M5 standard.
Communication will be demonstrated between the car model on Q-Free's stand and a roadside unit on Peek's: images recorded by the webcam-equipped car will be sent wirelessly to the roadside, while warning messages about radar-detected pedestrians will be sent via laser to the car display.
Last but not least, the project will be launching its new brochure at the Congress.
Looking foward to seeing you in Geneva!
