Impact assessment study for cooperative systems
This project started in January 2008 for a duration of 8 months and will carry out a study which aims:
- to evaluate the impact of selected co-operative applicationswith focus on
- safety - traffic efficiency - environment
- and carry out cost–benefit analysis for these applications.
To be able to specify the systems to calculate the cost of the systems in the study, some input from the CVIS project is needed. Relevant applications in CVIS could be the Cooperative Local Traffic Control, Enhanced Driver Awareness, and possibly Dynamic Bus Lanes.
